For Mother’s Day my mom, my aunt and I hit the Arboretum and the Rock Garden at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington. The only thing I love more than tulips is photographing tulips, as evidenced in the hundreds of images I took.

We went for a stroll along the waterfront in Burlington a few nights ago in the gorgeous summery weather we’ve been having. We ended up at Spencer’s and sat on the patio for a few mojitos until dark. Then we shot the restaurant and water features in their lit-for-nighttime beauty!
So our friend Greg in Toronto likes to DO THINGS. Like beach volleyball, or sailing, or hockey, or ride his motorcycle. Also, taking random pictures. He also has that picture itch…
After shooting the condom machine, we wandered around downtown for a bit. Jeff got an amazing HDR of the skyline, and I shot the details, as usual.
So, we live, you know, next door to the “City of Waterfalls,” we figure that since we’ve lived here for three years now we’d better get out and actually see some of these waterfalls. We started with an easy one: Webster’s Falls in Spencer Gorge in Dundas.

I work for a furniture manufacturer, and the building we work in is over 100 years old. It’s full of personality, brick walls, wood floors, cool stuff and dust, and we had the opportunity to shoot it in some gorgeous afternoon light after work had finished up for the day.
